Divine Recommendation
Divine recommendation is the favor and approval that comes from God and positions a person for opportunities, relationships, and assignments that human effort alone cannot secure. There are moments when God causes people to remember us, speak for us, or open doors on our behalf. When God recommends a person, His favor can take them into places they could not reach by their own strength.
Divine recommendation is connected to faithfulness, character, obedience, and God’s purpose. We should not seek the approval of people above the approval of God. The Bible says, “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge” (Psalm 75:6–7).
Living Out Divine Recommendation
To position ourselves for God’s recommendation, we must intentionally walk in a way that honors Him. This means:
- Living with integrity when no one is watching.
- Being faithful in the responsibilities God has given us.
- Developing a humble and teachable spirit.
- Trusting God’s timing instead of forcing doors open.
When God recommends a person, no opposition can ultimately cancel His purpose. Our responsibility is to remain faithful and prepared while trusting Him to orchestrate the right relationships and opportunities.
May God cause His favor to speak for us, connect us to the right people, and position us where His purpose can be fulfilled.
